2008 Projects

Our program for 2008 is to repair schools in Senegal and purchase school supplies for underprivileged children. We will allocate 80% of the funds raised to repair some schools and 20% to buy school supplies. Our research indicates that the average child needs $30.00 for all of his/her school supplies for each school year. (100% of your generous donation will be allocated to this program).

Project of Ndrame Escale Elementary School

Ndrame Escale Elementary School is located at Wack Ngouma, Nioro du Rip, Kaolack, Senegal. This school was built in 1957. It has 12 classes, 16 teachers, 494 students, 1 toilette, and 1 kitchen where volunteers cook lunch for students who can not go home for lunch and contribute financially. Because of the lack of resources 12.02% drop out and only 30.55% of the students graduate. These children need us to keep their dreams alive and have a chance like many children across the globe.

is located in Mecke, Thies, Senegal.
This is the only school available for this town and its neighboring villages. It has one classroom, about 120 students, and no toilette. Most of them have to walk few miles daily to attend classes.

    Other Projects:

Above cases are common in many small towns and villages in Africa. We have many similar projects across the continent. Let’s start doing something now. These children need us to keep their dreams alive and have a chance like many children across the globe.
